How do I plan my month?
Each field manager plans their calls a month ahead: which doctor, on which day. The plan goes to the manager for approval, and an approved plan is locked.
Field work → Calls → Plan. The month picker goes two months back and two ahead; it opens on next month. The heading reads "My plan · Month · status · N calls · N doctors".
Add calls to the plan
The plan is a week-by-week grid, Monday to Sunday.
- Press + on a working day to add a call. Only future working days have it.
- Days off, holidays and leave days are hatched and labelled with the holiday name, "Leave", or the weekday. A half day shows "½".
- Each call shows the doctor, coloured by tier. A completed call has a tick and an unplanned one "(U)".
The panels beside the grid show Calls by status, Doctors in the plan with their visits, and Honoraria approved.
Copy an earlier month
Copy plan (when the company allows copying the last period):
- Pick From: a month one to six months back.
- Each call is listed with its doctor, hospital, the old date and the new date. Change a To date if you need to; a date outside this month shows "Not in this month".
- Press Copy N calls.
The message says "Copied N · M skipped". Rows the rules refused stay in the list with the reason.
Send it
Press Send for approval once the plan has at least one call. It goes to the approver set under Approval rules (Monthly plan).

Print prints the plan.
The rules that apply
These are company settings (see Settings and exceptions). When one refuses a call, the message says why, for example:
- "Plan calls at least N days ahead." / "Plan calls at most N days ahead."
- "Plan calls for next month onward."
- "No more than N calls a day."
- "This doctor already has a call that day."
- "No more than N calls on this doctor in a month."
- "This plan is submitted. Wait for the decision before changing it."
- "This plan is locked and cannot change." / "Ask for the plan to be unlocked first."
The next month's plan opens on day 20 and is due on day 28 unless the company sets other days. A rule can be lifted for a few days: see Request an exception.
