Can I report without a signal?
Yes. Every change you make on the phone is saved on the phone first and shows at once. The phone sends it when it has a connection.
What works offline
Planning a call, an unplanned call, reporting, deferring, cancelling and moving a call, leave requests, starting the day, items given, stock received and stock requests.
Transferring a call and requesting an exception need a connection.
When it syncs
- As soon as the phone comes online.
- Every two minutes while it is online.
- A moment after each change.
The dot at the top shows Online, Syncing or Offline.
Sync and offline
More → Sync and offline shows the state, the Last sync, and the Outbox: each change not yet accepted, with when it was made.
| Tag | What it means |
|---|---|
| Waiting | Not sent yet |
| Sending | On its way |
| Not accepted | The server refused it; the reason shows under it |
- Sync now sends and downloads at once.
- Download again downloads all your data again.
When a change is not accepted
A change can be refused by a company rule, for example a call reported after its window. Under it:
- Retry sends it again, for example after the rule was changed.
- Discard drops it. The phone shows the data as it was before the change.
- Request exception, when a rule refused it, asks to step outside the rule (Request an exception).
A problem on the server's side is not a refusal: the change stays Waiting and is sent again.
Signing out
Signing out keeps unsent changes on the phone. They are sent the next time you sign in on that phone.
