How do I put our logo and colour on the app?
Setup → Logo and colours sets the company name, the brand colour and the logo. The same page switches the modules on and off.
Company
- Change the Company name if you want. The Company code cannot change.
- Pick the Brand colour with the picker, or type its hex code.
- Press Upload logo (or Change logo) and pick an image. Use an image under 300 KB. Remove takes the logo off.
- Press Save.
The On the phone panel shows how the colour and logo look in the phone app before you save.
How the colour is used
- The colour is an accent, used sparingly: the main button, the focus ring, highlights. Selected items use a light tint of it. The page itself stays calm.
- Charts pair it with a calm partner colour opposite it on the colour wheel. Orange gets a slate blue, blue a warm taupe, green a plum. The brand colour marks the series that should stand out.
- Status colours (done, waiting, late) do not change with the brand.
- Text on the colour is black or white, whichever reads better. If neither reads well, the page warns Text on this colour is hard to read (x:1). Pick a darker or lighter shade until the warning goes.
Modules
Switch on only what the company uses. Screens and settings for a module that is off are hidden.
