How do I set up regions and zones?
Setup → Regions and zones holds the company's areas: regions, and zones inside a region.
The heading reads "N regions · M zones". The table shows Name (zones indented under their region), Code, Kind and People.
Add one
- Press Add.
- Pick the Kind: Region or Zone. For a zone, pick its Region.
- Give the Name and Code, leave Active on, and save.
Open a name to change it.
Where they are used
- Each user and doctor belongs to a region or zone (Users, Add or change a doctor).
- A role that sees Region or zone sees everyone in its area (Roles and data scope).
- A holiday can be for one area only (Calendar).
- A setting can have an exception for one region (Settings and exceptions).
- Call transfer can be limited to the same zone.
